Cristina María Méndez is a Spanish-American actor and writer.
Cristina earned her BFA in Acting from Emerson College in Boston. She has trained at The Upright Citizens Brigade, Annie Grindlay Studio, The BGB Studio and studied for two years under the late director Robert Allen Ackerman, whose renowned work shaped the careers of many esteemed actors.
Born in Hartford, Connecticut, Cristina is bilingual in English and Spanish and holds citizenship in both the US and Spain. She pursued her passion for acting at The Greater Hartford Academy of the Arts before obtaining her BFA.
WRITING
Cristina broke story and collaborated on the development of two original pilots and is now refining her own one-hour sci-fi thriller drama.
MUSIC
Cristina writes and produces her own genre-blending music. Her releases have been featured in blogs such as Medium, and on Spotify editorial playlists such as “Hyperpop” and “Fantasía.”
Cristina is currently based in Florida and Los Angeles, and travels frequently to New York and Spain.
